Conceived by two local school teachers in 1997, Extreme Camp has grown to become the premier outdoor adventure based sports camp in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

While surfing one day in the fall of 1996, founders Joe Chiarello and Chris Raichle came up with the idea of utilizing their summers off to start a summer camp that would allow them to enjoy their passion for outdoor activities, introduce a new generation to non-sedentary outdoor fun, and hopefully make a few dollars.

Eleven years later Extreme Camp is bigger and stronger than ever and our reputation speaks for itself.

With a staff consisting of local school teachers, school administrators, college professors, and acclaimed high school coaches, we are sure to have your child throw out their video games and get outside and enjoy an active healthy lifestyle.
